Dsquared2

The combination of Canadian wit and Italian quality together with attention to detail is the basis of the philosophy of the Italian brand Dsquared2.

Career in the fashion world of the twin brothers Caten began in 1984. In 1983, Dean and Dan moved from their native Ontario (Canada) to New York and went to study at Parson's School of Design (a school of design in which Mark Jacobs, Tom Ford, Donna Karan and many other eminent designers also studied). In 1991, the brothers Caten moved to Italy, having in their hands two diplomas of graduates from one of the best design schools. In Italy, the brothers worked as creative directors with little-known fashion houses. The first collection of twin brothers appeared in 1994 and was released under the Dsquared2 brand, which stands for "D in the square" - the first letter of their second name. The new brand immediately attracted the attention of journalists and buyers. A mixture of Canadian style and Italian tailoring, as well as attention to detail - that's what the brand philosophy of Dsquared2 looks like today.
